What do the Columbus Ohio Zoo, the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida have in common? They all require specialized scenery to bring them to life! Whether it’s a polar bear habitat, a world of magic, or the 50th anniversary of one of the the most photographed (and happiest) places on earth, there’s a team of professional builders and designers working hard in the background to make it all look amazingly real. And then all that scenery and artwork needs to be shipped to its destination. (That’s where we come in.)
Recently, when we traveled to Florida our NASCAR race car and hauler had the pleasure of visiting such place that builds amazing settings. Drivers Rick and Sherryl tell us:
“We pulled into a dirt parking lot and boy were we surprised. This company makes the scenery for Disney, Harry Potter at Universal Studios, Sea World etc. and ships to theme parks all over the world!”
See – when you pass one of our trucks on the road you never know what’s inside, heading to a magical destination. It could be tires, car engines, medical supplies, or the scene at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Here’s a fun fact – Did you know that since 1971, the total miles logged at the Monorail in Disney World equals 30 round trips to the moon?
That day we served over 225 people and the folks had fun sitting in (and on) our race car and checking out the hauler.
From there we headed to St. Augustine, Florida where we visited a company that makes high end ceilings for concert halls. We ship those ceilings using our Business Critical service, designed for time sensitive freight, all over the world. We served lunch to 150 people there.
So you see, every day we’re helping to bring the magic, the music and the hot dogs to you. Not bad for a day’s work.
