NASCAR Hauler in front of the Mercerdes-Benz Superdome
It wasn’t just the ULL Ragin Cajuns and the East Carolina Pirates that made the trip to New Orleans, LA for the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl! Our NASCAR race cars and hauler made the trip too, and were displayed proudly in front of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. They were there during the game, and they had a great view of Bad Company and Beach Boys for the Friday Night Concert. Drivers Wade and Nancy were able to enjoy the concert and the game before heading out to their next destination the following day. Can you see them here in the crowd?
New Orleans, Louisiana

French Quarter in New Orleans
If you’ve never visited New Orleans you are in for a treat. The city is rich with history, culture, food, wonderful people and so much to do you’ll never stop moving! The French Creole architecture is unique to the Big Easy, and you’ll see plenty of examples as you walk through the French Quarter.
New Orleans is the largest city in Louisiana and a major freight transportation and shipping hub, as it straddles the Mississippi River to the Gulf. During your visit, you’ll see a steady parade of cargo ships moving down the river toward the port.
Home to this year’s Superbowl XLVII, you’ll get a sneak preview of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the city in our photo gallery. While we were there in December we observed how much rebuilding and beautification is taking place in preparation for the Superbowl. Despite the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, events like Mardi Gras, the New Orleans Bowl and the Jazz and Heritage Festival were never cancelled.
- Huge crowd at the Bad Company and Beach Boys pregame concert!
- Check out that huge crowd!
