Drivers Rick and Sherryl spent eight days in the Carolinas recently, stopping first in Aberdeen at a kiosk manufacturer. Since our team from You Crate has worked closely with kiosk manufacturers and has attended the Customer Engagement Technology World show, we were interested in the manufacturing of their technology products. It reminded us of a visit we made last year to shoot the following video about our You Crate custom crating services.
We got off track there for a minute! Off track – get it?
50 people gathered during our visit in Aberdeen to check out our NASCAR race car and enjoy lunch. Then we went to Statesville, NC to visit a manufacturer of bed linens, where 80 people gathered; and then to Washington, NC to a plant that fabricates retail displays, where we visited 120 people! We’re very familiar with shipping retail displays and could relate to the challenges they face at the plant. If you ever need help shipping or setting up retail displays for a store remodel, trade show, or a product roll-out let us know. We have the best folks and technology in the industry to help you.
Also note: our hot dog count is going up fast.
On Thursday we drove to Raleigh, NC and on Friday, we crossed the state line and headed to Clio, SC to a plant that makes pulley belts. At this last location, 110 people joined us for lunch. From Clio, we traveled to Blythwood, SC to a machine shop, serving lunch and sharing our stories with 45 people.
From Blythwood, SC it was on to a printing plant, where the owner surprised us by bringing out a copy of our internal newsletter, R+L In Motion! We should expect no less from a printing company. Here, 60 people joined us for some delicious hot dogs and we discussed our full truckload options. Wednesday found us in Lugoff, SC at a protective boxes and packaging plant. Their products are perfect for shipping! There we served 70 people.
After that packed itinerary, Rick and Sherryl headed to Ocala, Florida to stage the hauler and race cars for the annual Ocala Pumpkin Run.
But we’ll write about that in another post. In the meantime, if you have questions about our NASCAR race car and hauler or any of the places we’ve visited let us know! Until then, enjoy the photos.
